Re:source supports those stewarding regeneration across Europe's agrifood systems

Re:source is a non-profit, independent initiative working to strengthen the social and systemic fabric of Europe’s regenerative agrifood transition.

We aim to offer open and generative spaces where diverse actors can meet, connect and coordinate around what the system needs.

Our approach is to resource the stewards already doing the work, help the system coordinate more wisely, and make the deeper layers of transformation visible and workable.

We do not aim to represent the movement or centralise it. Instead, we hold a connective role within it, contributing clarity, relationships and sense-making that help many efforts add up to system-level impact. Our work builds on years of grassroots organising, coalition building and shared inquiry with partners across Europe.

We serve as a neutral, trusted space where diverse actors can meet, re-connect to a sense of source and align around what the system truly needs.

At the heart of Re:source

Re:source is held by a small team supported by funders and collaborators who care deeply about Europe’s agrifood transition. Together, we steward the relationships, spaces and shared inquiry that make this work possible. Each of us brings different experiences and ways of seeing. We share a commitment to integrity, independence and supporting regeneration across the system.

Below are the people shaping this work day to day.

Ivo

I believe that strengthening the European agrifood system’s capacity for self-organisation is one of the most important things we can do right now. We have resources, brilliant people, shared visions, and deep care and love – yet often lack the ability to collaborate effectively. I’m fascinated by understanding system dynamics and exploring how they can evolve.

Franzi

I deeply believe that the regenerative agriculture movement holds the potential to be a guiding example of how we, as an ecosystem, can move through transformation. Contributing to weaving the social fabric needed for this – and stepping into courageous action together – fills me with energy and genuine excitement.

Ilana

I love bringing pioneers and stewards from across sectors and systems to meet, connect, learn and reflect together – and how in the right conditions inspiration, co-creation and new pathways forward emerge – rooted in the wisdom, knowledge and capacities (and humour) already available within the room, the land, the space.

Partners

Re:source can exist because a small group of philanthropic partners believe in the quiet, patient work of strengthening Europe’s regenerative agrifood transition. Their support gives us the freedom to be independent and to focus on the deeper layers of transformation.

We include here multi-year partnerships. Such long-term partnerships allow for depth, independence and continuity, making it possible to build the trust and relationships that this work depends on. We carry real gratitude for their trust and companionship.

**Beyond this, we have received resourcing in the form of one-off grants by Richard Distl and Sol Fund in 2025.
